Anushka dreamt of becoming a pastry chef since she was 13. Eventually, she worked her way up and now has a strong background in pastry. In India, she ran a home-based cake and pastry business. Armed with a Bachelors degree in Hotel Management from IHM Ahmedabad, India, she came to New Zealand to acquire a Diploma in Patisserie at the Auckland University of Technology to improve her patisserie skills. Anushka has the experience of working as a pastry chef in various styles of kitchen production. In her free time, she likes to bake and posts her recipe tutorials on YouTube. Her goal is to keep learning and exploring the world of pastry and create desserts and bakes that would WOW people.
Shalvi has always been passionate about chocolates and brings a wealth of knowledge about the world of chocolates. Before coming to New Zealand to study Diplome de Patisserie from Le Cordon Bleu Wellington, Shalvi owned a chocolate production business in India for six years. After completing her patisserie programme, she worked as a Chocolatier at Bohemein Fresh Chocolates and as a pastry chef at LSG sky chefs. Shalvi continues to follow her passion, and now owns and runs her own chocolate shop in the Auckland CBD. She’s now exploring further and is keen on combining her chocolate and pastry skills to create delectable desserts. Her motto is to educate dessert-lovers about products made from natural ingredients and to spread the knowledge of artisan chocolates.
